
Advocacy: to preserve, promote and protect the rights of children for optimal health and well being and to work tirelessly to advocate for these rights.
Promoting our chapter and the AAP: to develop the means and methods to promote The Delaware Chapter and the American Academy of Pediatrics to both our members and the communities and constituencies that we serve.
Education: to design, develop and deliver education programs for our members as well as our key stakeholders that will enable children to experience optimal health and well-being.
Fiscal responsibility: raising money and prudently allocating our resources so we can responsibly fulfill our mission, vision, objectives and goals.
Research: to conduct research that will enable us to proactively address the current and emerging needs of children to foster optimal health and well-being.
Collaboration: we understand that working together with each other and those outside the organization will be a key to our success.
Member-focus: we will continually focus on the needs of our members and look for ways to best satisfy these needs.
